Satellite Dish Installation Cost in Scotland
What affects Sky and Freesat dish prices, when realignment beats replacement, and how to avoid surprise extras.
Dish installs are priced on access, dish size, cabling runs, and whether you need a single feed or multi-room distribution. A straightforward wall mount on a house with short cable runs costs less than a high chimney stack, long coax to several rooms, or a block of flats with shared IRS rules.
Storm damage often looks worse than it is — a bracket tweak, new LNB, or realignment fixes many “no signal” faults without a full new dish. If the dish is bent or the arm has cracked, replacement is the safer call.
Moving home? Reusing an old dish can work after alignment and signal checks, but rusty fixings and perished cable should be replaced while the engineer is on site.
